Why i am unable to login?
This can have several reasons. First of all make sure to use your email address as username and not your old username. The second reason for this problem can be that one of our antivirus data providers has reported your domain and deleted it from our system.
Do you really offer unlimited and 100% free domain names? What's the catch?
The short answer: there is no catch, you can register and setup at no cost unlimited domain names with us. The only requirements we have to our members is that you follow our terms and that your domain is an active website.
When are my domain names expiring? Do I need to renew them?
Our domain names do not expire and you don't need to renew them anymore like in the past. Our system deletes however domains which do not receive valid DNS requests within a 10 days time-frame. Therefore we suggest you to only register domains which you are ready to use as our system will delete inactive domains automatically.
I have registered successfully my first domain name. Where can I upload my website?
You can't upload your website with us. We are only providing you with free domain names and free DNS. To upload your website select a webhosting company of your choice. The webhosting company will provide your with FTP access to their server and give you instructions on how you can connect your website with the free domain name from us.
My namserver and/or zone records have been setup correct. Why does my website not load in my browser when I visit the site?
You need to be a bit patient and give the DNS up to 24 hours time to propagate itself over the internet. If you want to see your website before the propagation happend we suggest you visit your website over a proxy or VPS network.
My question and/or problem was not answered with the answers above. Where can I get support?
Please send an email to admin@uni.me with a short description of the issue you are experiencing. Due to the high number of support requests it can take several days before you will receive an answer from us. Currenly only PRO members enjoy dedicated support with a response time of maximum 12 hours.
